Buying Disney gift cards at Target

If I buy a 500.00 Disney gift card thru Target via online. Can i print the card and bring with me to Disnyworld and then purchase at one of the shops another disneyworld gift card that says happy birthday?

Are you asking if you can pay for the new gift card with the one you bring from home? Not positive, but I don’t think you can pay for a gift card with another gift card. They wouldn’t even let me pay for a gift card on my magic band a few years ago.

You could buy that card with a minimum in cash & add the value from your target one to it via the Disney gift card site. But you have to scratch the numbers on the back to use the site. And also, a lot of the gift cards are generic & happy birthday ones might not be found everywhere.

Yes. I use gcs to pay for my room all the time.

You can buy one with a small amount on it and then transfer from the one you purchased at target using the disney gift card site.

Buy a physical $25 gc from Disney direct online where you can pick the design (smallest denomination, free shipping, do give it up to 2 weeks to arrive). Buy $475 from Target online in Disney e-gift cards. Once the $25 physical card arrives from Disney combine the e-gift cards onto it using the disney gift card website and voila, you have $500 on a fun bday gift card that you've saved dough on.

You can always buy a gift card at the denomination you prefer ( from $25 up to $500) and get 5% off same as when you buy a second larger card; no need to lose the discount on the smaller card and I’m sure the recipient will still appreciate it if it has Mickey Mouse on it instead of “Happy Birthday”.

Just know to combine any funds thru the Disney Gift Card site, you have to scratch the numbers on the back of the card. Personally, I won’t do that if I’m giving the card as a gift, even to a family member. Just something to think about as you decide what to do.
