Buying Dis GCs with REDCard?

I found an old thread from Oct that said you can buy Disney GCs at Target with your RED Card (in store) and get 5% off, does this still work? I want to do this for our dining plan! TIA!

IIRC, it doesn't work for online purchases, but it's fine for in store purchases

You can still buy them online with your Red card and get the 5% off. You can't use gift cards to buy them online anymore. You have to go in the store to do that and some Targets won't let you use the gift cards in store either.

Yes. I just bought $8,000+ in Disney gift cards with my Target RedCard Debit Card over the past three months. Most recently last week.
