Buying crocs in the parks?

I don't know why I am surprised that people feel the need to be critical on here. OP just wanted info about Crocs.

I bought a pair of the Mickey flip flop style crocs several years ago and they are almost wore out so am looking forward to replacing them this summer :)

Welp....I have been to Disney many times - and...
1. I LOVE my Crocs. They have made our vacations a zillion times more pleasurable - super comfy, no problems if they get wet, and there are now a lot of new styles so yes..they can be cute!
2. They are NOT the worst fashion-fail to be seen in the Parks. ;)

and OP - just a warning - I wanted to buy a new pair of the Mickey Flip Flops and I could NOT find my size ANYWHERE - (womens size 7) - We found the Crocs everywhere - but never the size I needed. If you are depending on them you may want to be sure to buy them previous to your trip. I just got my son and husband some for our upcoming trip at Marshalls for $14.99.

Thanks for the tip, dh was just in Marshalls today and bought himself and dd both new pairs (his for $10 and hers for $12). I will be going in tomorrow to see what pair I want! I do want the Mickey croc band, but I agree with you that it would be more beneficial to make sure I have a comfy new pair, and then just pick up the mickey style in the parks as a souvenir!

Thanks to all who offered helpful advice :)

Just noticed they have 25% off right now online for the disney summer fun flip flop...

I noticed that they only sell even size crocs in the parks. Is it still this way or have they started selling odd sizes? I needed a nine.

Really I never noticed this. I am a size 4 where as DW is 7 so this may account for my luck over hers...

Now it all makes sense...Last year my mom wanted a pair, and we were sent on a wild goose chase to various stores across various parks & DTD, but never found the elusive 7's she was looking for!

My DD and DH have very wide feet and foot problems, so we are a Crocs family... :faint:

I was at WDW a month ago and they still sell them, but not as many locations and a much smaller selection than a few years ago. I only saw them in the big stores (i.e. MouseGear) and the kids crocsband came in 2 colors (pink and ???). I was happy I ordered DD's lime green Mickey crocs before we went.

There used to be stands in the park with tons of colors and they had the jibbitz that fit in Mickey crocs. This last trip there were no stands and I couldn't find any jibbitz.

I also went on a wild goose chase all over the parks and came to the conclusion there were never any odd sizes just even. I really hope this has changed. That is how I realized that there were only even sizes because I would go through every shoe thinking maybe someone set my size out of place.

:goodvibes

I told DW this morn about your amazing discovering and she looked like the penny dropped and said ' I will never get back that time racing around the parks searching for Mickey flip flops in a 7 ' lol.

How foolish that must cut half the buying public out as I can't imagine anyone jumping one size up or down. But you know could this be the real reason Cinderella lost her slipper? It was a size too big and she was an odd? Lol

I have a pair of Mickey Crocs, I normally wear them in the house.
I love the Mickey Fit Flops. They are so cute, and they felt great on my feet.
I just wish the Disney Store would sell them again.

Too Cute ;) Thank you

Sorry to intrude but I notice you have Kidani in your signature. Me and DW are going in May 5th for the first time for 10 days. We normally stay at our home resort at SSR but wanted to try Animal Kingdom for a change. Any tips? Is it nice? We have an accessible studio in Kidani standard view. I have restricted mobility. Looking forward to it! We are coming from the UK. Paula

Friends don't let friends buy crocs.

Four years ago, I would have agreed with you... until my first day at Disney and my feet hurt SO badly, I thought I was going to have to cut them off. My sister said, let me get you a pair of Crocs. I thought, 'well, it's not my money and I don't have to wear them anywhere where people know me.' So, I get a pair.. and my walking life dramatically improved.

I have 4 pairs now.. 2 from Disney (classic croc and boat shoe style croc - both with Mickey Holes) and 2 that don't have holes in them at all. I wear them a lot and I am a Crocs convert now. :cool1:

Pretty sure they sell 7s. My croc size depends on the style because I'm a 7.5 so I have to decide if I want to go up or down. I have 2 pairs of Mickey Crocs (Cruz & flip flops) and 99% sure I tried on both sizes both times.

FYI- in January there was a small but well stocked stand in Epcot by the fountains headed towards World Showcase.

DD loved these.

I had almost the EXACT SAME Crocs conversion LOL!! I would always secretly judge people wearing Crocs in public, until one trip to Disney...2007 I think..by the end of the week, my feet were literally throbbing in pain! I broke down and bought a pair of the pink/white Mickey clogs that I don't think they sell anymore. It was instant relief for my feet.

I still only wear my Crocs at Disney, or sometimes walking my dog around the block, but I no longer judge the Croc-wearers, hahaha ;)
