buying beer/soda in Key West

We are flying the day of the cruise, dont want to pack drinks.
In fear of brust cans. Can we buy in Key West and bring on the ship?

Absolutely. We're on the Magic now and did exactly that. We founf a little convenience store called Millies. I forgot the street, but it's not too far from Mallory Square, right near a Ben & Jerrys. I bought two gallons of water and two 2 liter bottles of coke. With the ice service in my room, I have no problems with cold drinks.

We also purchased our beer at Millies & walked right back on board with out any issues.

Don't know if it is the same place or not mentioned above, but we also bought beer/soda at a convenience store in Key West....it had a big British Flag hanging outside. Prices were resonable...it was also near the Trolley/Ben & Jerry's.
