Buying Beer in Key West

Hi Everyone:

Is there a liquor store close to the port? We are travelling in from Canada and can buy hard liquor in the Duty Free shops on our way, however, they don't sell beer or pop.

Tropical Package Store can be found at 508 Fleming Street (just off Duval St.)

You can also find just about anything you need at Fausto's Groceries at the corner of Flemming and Bahama which is right off Duval Street one block off of where Fast Buck Freddie and the Hotel LaConcha is.
Fausto's has been around for eons.

what kind of prices are you talking? same as in Orlando, Port Canaveral?

We bought two 12 packs of beer in Key West during our 1/4 Magic cruise....I have no idea the name of the store, but it was tiny and had a big British Flag hanging out front. It was right near where you pick up the Conch Train Tour....near all the gift shops. It was set back a bit (near the Ben & Jerry's ice cream). Prices were comprable to what you would pay anywhere for beer.

Had no problem carrying it back onboard either.
