they have just about anything you'd need in an emergency. Diapers, wipes, baby food, tylenol, sippy cups etc.

Now I would do whatever possible not to have to buy anything there. The prices are crazy. We had to buy a pull up for our son. (We forgot to bring one to the park.) I don't remember how much it was, but it was a lot!

If I recall, you could get a small pkg of huggies (15 size 4s maybe?) for $10 or you could get a packet with wipes, a diaper and a disposable changing pad for $1.

Prices at the Baby Care Centers are through the roof and the selection is limited, but you should be able to get something close to what you need if you are in a pinch.

Our DD has been to WDW at 4 mo., 14 mo., and 18 mo. The best thing that we did was to ship a box a head to the resort with things like diapers, wipes, disposable sippy cups, disposable bibs, baby food, etc.

Just a heads up they only sell huggies...We only use pampers cruises my dd gets leaks in huggies so if ur partial to a certain diaper make sure u have enough

Last year when we went DS was 10 months and we brought EVERYTHING with us! It was a pain but we were in the parks one day and I ran out of baby tylenol for him and had to buy it from the babycare center, and as others have said I couldn't get over the price of it! Also the resort stores run out of things all the time. We where one bottle of formula short and DH wound up having to take a cab and go to a supermarket to get more ( DS wasn't on any kind of special formula either just regular old similac). Bring it all with you or ship it down before you go, it is soooo much easier than trying to find it when your there!

Thanx for the heads up on the Huggies, we only use Pampers as well!!! Seems as though the store will be a last resort for us!! Now, how difficult or easy is it to ship a case to our DR? Will it get lost in the mail? We know others that are doing the same but haven't heard how it worked out for them yet!! :bounce:

If you're renting a car, the best bet would be to shop at a grocery store. I believe there are a few on 17-92, (i.e. Publix or Winn-Dixie if you want to Google them) just outside of Disney Maingate. The shops inside the park and resorts have a definite mark-up!

We were there LY with our dd(10M). Since she was not on much table food yet (late teether), I opted to bring all of my diapers, wipes, snacks and formula (on the way home we had more room in our luggage for fun WDW prizes). We had WEGO Shop deliver all babyfood, water, soda and big people snacks.

If you have a car or are using a transportation service, I would suggest stopping at a grocery store and picking up what you need. If not, you can either pack it (I would take the glass jars as a carry on or get the plastic gerber containers), take a cab to the grocery store (I read that it is not that far) or use a delivery service (This was pretty exensive for us and they picked many food flavors that I didn't request).

It's very easy to ship a box to your resort. You just send it to yourself c/o the resort. Include your reservation number and date of arrival on the package. I shipped my box about a week before we left via UPS (cost about $15 for a huge box). I think they estimated that it would take 4-5 days for it to arrive from Illinois. Because I shipped it UPS, I had a tracking number and was able to confirm that it had arrived at the resort before we traveled to Florida.
