buying apps off itunes

My son has an iphone and has been buying apps for his phone. Do I download these apps to my computer like I do the music. The apps are in my account ready to download but if I download them, will he be able to later put them on his phone again (if he accidently deletes something)

Once you have downloaded an app you will not have to pay for it again. If you try to download it you will be reminded that you already have it, but will not be charged again. I had this happen when I switched from my iphone 3 to my iphone 4.

If you buy it off the itunes on the computer then yes you are gonna have to plug the phone into the computer and download it to that. If you buy it off the itunes on the phone then it just loads right then and there onto the phone. But it depends on the app because there are some that you have to have the phone plugged into the computer in order to download it. Usually what I do is if I buy something on my phone I then go and plug it into the computer so the info can transfer onto the itunes on the computer just incase something happens to the phone and the app gets deleated I can just plug it into the comp and reload it back on with out re buying

Yes. You can download it to the computer and the next time you sync the device, you can put a check mark next to the app to load it onto that device.

I've got 3 ipods, an iTouch and now two iPhones that use my laptop and we're able to pick and choose what goes where, but we've never had a problem with purchasing and later adding it to a device.
