Buying AP question

Hi,

New owner here...

I've been reading the various threads on the ways to maximize the discount on an Annual Pass by purchasing a discount ticket and upgrading to AP with DVC discount at the park.

I think I have that. But since my trip is in Sept, I'll need to factor in the ticket price increase in Aug. Is the increase typically the same % for all types?
