Buying AP online?

If I buy AP's online do they send me the actual AP or a voucher? If it is a voucher how long are they good for? We have a trip planned for next year and wanted to know if we could buy the passes now but not activate them until we arrive.

When I got mine, I printed out a voucher about three weeks ago. It will not be activated until I go down there in a few days. I am not sure how long you can keep them unactivated. Maybe you could call the annual passholder line and ask.

It will start on the first day you enter the park. You can save it.
