Buying AP and AP Rate Check In

I received an incredible AP rate for CSR at the end of January, but I have not yet bought an AP. I know the several places where I can buy an AP, but most only sell you vouchers that need to be exchanged at the park gate. Will the hotel accept such a voucher rather than the actual pass to get my AP rate at check in? Or do I have to go to a park first before I check in?

They will take the voucher for check-in but you may have to return to the front desk to show the actual AP during your stay. It all depends on the CM .

I got AP rates for our stay at CBR last week, and was never asked to show a voucher or AP (just had vouchers at time of checkin). But I'm sure this is not probably the norm.

While I would not count on this happeneing, in 14+ AP rate stays, I've been asked to show my AP maybe twice.
