Are any of the original DVC resorts resale points good after Riveria was built?

I thought there was a list with dates for ( when and where you could use resale points)?

Is Riveria direct allow to use points for future DVC's?

Resale contracts bought since Jan 2019 are not good at RIV, VDH and CFW and presumably any new resorts that get built.

Direct points bought are good everywhere and have full trading rights.

Resale points are the restricted resorts can only be used at their home resorts.

If you own Riviera direct then yes.

Not Riviera specifically. Any points bought direct can be used for future DVC locations

If you buy direct, those direct points can be used everywhere, including future resorts (unless they were to change things down the road.)

But if you also have resale points...there are restrictions.
If you bought resale for Riviera, you can only use those points at Riviera and nowhere else.
If you bought resale for Disneyland Hotel, you can only use those at VDH.
If you bought resale for Fort Wilderness Cabins, you can only use those points at the FW cabins.

If you bought resale at any of the other resorts (after 2019), you can book any of the resorts (minus the 3 above, and likely any future resorts) at the 7-month mark.

ETA - Looks like you purchased all of your resale before 2019 restrictions came into play. Which means no restrictions for you at all. None of the above applies to your points.

I own BWV 2 resale in 2002/2011, 1 direct in 2004. I can book the original 14 DVC. I guess I can't book any new stand alone DVC resorts except Riveria. I guess I can book Poly Tower and GFV ( big key) because they are not stand alone

Since all your points were bought pre 2019, those points are good everywhere.

Doesn’t matter if you bought resale or direct. Nothing prior to 2019 has use restrictions outside the normal 11 and 7 month rules.

Your resale points are grandfathered in, the rules regarding resale points that existed when you bought them still govern their use, so in your case because you bought resale in 2004 & 2011 before the whole restricted resorts nonsense existed, you can use your resale points to book the new resorts including Riviera, the cabins at Ft. Wilderness, & the Disneyland hotel.
I’m in the same situation w/ pre 2019 resale points that I can use to book the new restricted resorts.
If you are thinking of buying more resale points now (as your thread title implies) those points could not be used for restricted resorts like Riviera, they could, however, be used for the add on sections of existing resorts in the O14 like the Grand Floridian villas & the Poly tower. & if you bought a restricted resort like Riviera resale, those resale points could only be used to book Riviera.
