I'd like to buy a used van. I saw a van I was interested in yesterday. The price for the van is 4 to 6 thousand dollars over what edmunds and kelly blue book say the van is worth.
My question, do I call them and look at the van, knowing that I would offer them way below what they are asking. I'm not going to buy something and pay more for it than I would even at a dealer. My DH says not to bother, they want way too much for the van and there is no way we would even pay close to what they are asking.
It is the van I've been looking at and it's at a price that I don't believe that many people are going to be looking at but then I am amazed what people pay for mini vans. I'm in sticker shock, who knew that the day of the $40,000 mini van is here.
