Buying a stroller on Ebay

I have my eye on a 2007 MacClaren Volo stroller on ebay. The seller says it is new in box. It's priced great at $51.99 + $20 in shipping.

Is that the best deal I'll find? Is there anything I should be concerned about when buying a stroller on ebay? What has been your experience?

I've already tested this stroller out at Babies R Us and we liked it.

That's a great price all right! Before our last trip in March, I bought a joovy groove from a seller on Ebay, even though I was a bit nervous. He said it was new in box, etc and the price was good. I LOVE it, and would buy from him again! Good luck!

That sounds like a great deal! I have bought over the years 6 strollers on E-bay. Some were used but in great condition, some were new. If you liked the stroller in the store, than go for it. I would just factor in when bidding what it would cost you in the store and what it will cost you for the stroller and shipping and handling on E-bay. If there isn't that much difference between the store and E-bay, then I would buy it at the store.

After much googling and looking at prices (I'm sure you understand what I mean ) I finally found the "best" deal on ebay for my new mac techno XT. Used a coupon I had and earned ebay bucks (or whatever they're calling them) that I can redeem in August. Had a great transaction, fast delivery, perfect stroller. Got mine from an isoldit seller. Just be sure to check feedback for the seller before buying.

I bought 2 Volos off Ebay, for $74.99 each (shipping included). I had NO problems - they shipped the next day, and were at my door the day after they shipped. You're getting a good deal! Just like the prior poster said, check the feedback, and if it's good, I say go for it!

I bought our Volo on ebay 2 weeks ago at the same price. I had been doing research for a few weeks and have not found anything less expensive- especially new. I watched a few with lower shipping charges and everything ended up to be at least the same amount. I was very happy with my transaction and the seller was prompt and helpful. Before you buy on Ebay, may I suggest checking out your local childrens resale stores. My DH and I are taking our two DD's to DLR tommorow and just a couple of days ago I sent DH out scouting for a double stroller. He came back with a Jeep All-weather double stroller for $35.00. Cant hurt to look...
