Buying a gift card with a Master Card gift card? Possible??

So I have a gift card that says Master Card on it and wanted to use it on the Disney Parks app. I called them and they said they don't accept them. Makes no sense to me since it's a Master Card so that's how they run it but they said they only accept Disney gift cards. So then I thought "what if I go to Kroger and purchase a Disney gift card WITH that Master Card gift card" Is it possible? I've never bought a gift card with a 'gift card' but it says Master Card on it so can you buy gift cards with a credit card emblem? I've always paid cash for gift cards so wondering if that would work.

MasterCard gift cards run as debit cards (as do Visas, but not Amex which run as credit) with the pin usually being the last four digits of the card unless you've changed it and depending on who the issuing bank is (probably Metabank). I use them at grocery stores similar to Kroger to purchase gift cards all the time.

I would give it a try. Some stores will allow it and others won't. We don't have Kroger here in California, but I've been able to do it at our local Safeway, but not at SaveMart. Go figure.

Mastercard gift cards are usable anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

No debate that you don't have them [KROGER] but . .

We have KROGER stores in SOCAL . . they are RALPHS Grocery stores.
