Buying a few 'cell phones'

I don't think we're going to be able to get away with our next trip without a couple of US cell phones, as we have so many separate parties that will need to meet up at different times.

If you needed a few phones, as cheap as possible what would you do?

Get them delivered to the resort? Get them on eBay in advance?

We won't have a car. So can't go buy them on arrival. And knowing the numbers in advance would be a big bonus.

We had about 6 separate 'parties' with us for our wedding and ended up spending about £150 on my phone!!
So definitely this is the way to go.
Sadly I'm not sure of the best way to get some, especially without a car

Ebay have sims on there for like £3.50 with postage. We have at least 4 old phones here we can get unlocked (as long as we can find the chargers!) so I think this might be our best bet.

Fingers crossed we can get the sims and figure out the phone numbers in advance. That way I can also give our planner/photographers etc my 'cell' number and they can contact me any time in the lead up to the wedding.

Where are you staying? I stay on I-Drive and as soon as I get there I go to 7-Eleven and buy a $10-15 phone with some minutes already on. You can then buy top up cards when you need them.
If you are staying on Disney though, I'm not too sure where you would get them.

If they had ones cheap enough, you could order from Amazon.com and get them delivered to your resort...

If it helps Jules (Iluvtot) is going to send me her two when she gets back from her holiday this month, for my trips in October and December. I can then send them on to you as you don't need them until next year?
