5 day hoppers are sold at the park (main ticket booth and downtown disney ticket booth (next to Monorail)) for 184 for adults and 149 for children.
If you are staying at one of the DL hotels you may buy a 5 day hopper for 159 adult and 129 child at the front desk of your hotel.
Guests staying at a good neighbor hotel can buy a 5 day hopper at their hotel for 159 adult and 129 child.
I don't know where any Disney stores are in the LA area, but we have quite a few near
Disneyland. The easiest would be at Mainplace mall.
Leaving LAX take the 105 East to the 605 South (this is the last exit of the 105 freeway, before it turns into a street.) Take the 91 East (the 2nd (or 3rd I can never remember)). Then take the 5 South. You will see an exit for Disneyland, but stay on the freeway.
You have 3 choices, here to get to mainplace. You can either take the broadway (i think that's the exit it's the first exit after the 22 freeway exit). You will end up on a tiny little street. Take the first left at the stop light. Go down the street to Main street (should be first light) and turn left, I think it's the next light (but I could be wrong) turn Left (you'll see a Wells fargo on the North West corner). Turn Right at the first stop light, then turn left at the stop sign. As you go around the building right here, you will see a statue of a bear (unless of course it's late at night and they've covered him). Park near here. This is the California Welcome Center. They do sell tickets in here, and at one point where selling them cheaper than you could get at the main gates. Haven't asked their prices in a while though. They close at 6 I think (maybe earlier on Saturdays, not sure).
Here's another option. On the 5, you'll see the exit for 22 West, the far right lane will have to exit here. The next lane over will exit at La Veta (I think that's the name of the street), exit here and turn left (should be heading East), go over the freeway, and there will be a gas station on your right, and a parking structure across the street from that. Turn right at that light with the gas station (I think it's the first light, but I'm doing this from memory and it's been a while since I've gone this way). This street looks sort of like a little alley way. At the stop sign turn Right. Continue around the mall past the parking structure. There will be a stop sign to turn into the parking lot (after the structure) keep going. Then there is a entrance (don't remember if it has a stop sign or not). Turn left here, then turn right at the end of the street (if you miss this, then turn right at the stop light, left at the stop sign). Continue until you see the bear (mentioned earlier and park)
Your other option to get to the mall (and easier in my opinion, though a bit more out of your way). While on the 5 freeway, take the 22 East Exit. 2 lanes will merge together and on the bridge another lane will come in. Stay in the right lane and get off at the first exit (should say main street). Turn right at the stop sign. Continue through the first and second stop lights (second one will enter you at the mall), There will be a stop sign, at Robbinsons may, then you will continue around the back around the parking structure. Another stop sign after the structure, then the entrance. Turn left then right at the end and look for the bear.
To get to the
disney store from the entrance by the CA welcome center, go into the door next to the CAWC (or go in through the CAWC if you want) walk down the little hall to the main mall area. You will see escalators and a kids area on your right, Children's place on your left. Go up the escalator and turn left, continue around and there will be an exit (towards spoons on your right) keep going and Disney store will be on your right.
One hint look for the signs for the california welcome center, I think they have them on the freeway to help get here)
To get back to Disneyland from the mall. Go up the aisle to near the bear and turn right, at the first stop sign turn right and turn left at the light. Turn left at the first light (Main Street). There will be a light at the mall. Another light at a street, and then you'll pass over the 22 freeway. At La Veta Turn Right (it will be the first light after you go over the 22 freeway (St. Joseph Hospital and CHOC will be on your left). Theres a stop light with a brigde over it for the hospital employees to get to the rest of the medical buildings. Then turn right to get on the 22 Freeway going West. Stay near the right and take the 57/5 exit. The 2nd to the right lane is the best. Get on the 5 north (the 2 lanes will merge with some other lanes and then the right lanes will go off on the 57 while the left 2 lanes go off to the 5. Once on the 5 get in the next lane over to the left. Stay in this lane. If you're staying off of Katella You can stay in the lane you were in as this lane exits at Katella (I think). If you're going to DL hotels get off a harbor. After Katella There are some on ramps. The last one will have its own lane. Get in the right lane and exit at Harbor Blvd. To get to Disneyland hotels (or the DL parking structure), stay, get in the left lane when it splits in 2, then stay in the middle lane when it splits in 3. Turn Right from the middle lane, and get in the left left turn lane. Turn left on to ball road (1st light). You will go up and over the 5 Freeway, stay in the far left lane. There will be a stop light at Ox Road/Cast place. Then Turn left at the next light (Disneyland something drive? way? Can't remember as the changed all the street names few years back) The right lane is better for going to Downtown Disney and the hotels, the left lane is better for going to the parking structure. DL hotel I think you turn at Downtown disney entrance (first right at stop light). GC turn left (think it's 2nd light, but there might be one more) PPH will be on your right (right after GC)
If you tell me what hotel you are at, I can probable give better directions to it.
I would check these directions against a map as they are from memory, and I may have missed a stop light or stop sign.
