Buyer's remorse using Hotwire for car rental

I reserved a car through Hotwire about a month ago or so, it sounded like a good deal at the time. SUV for 8 days, total $310.xx with all taxes and fees. Well, now, Budget has a special for mid-size SUVs and it would be $251.xx with all taxes and fees for the same period. Not to mention Budget would've been in-terminal, and I got Hertz with Hotwire, which is off-terminal. I'm so bummed. I know I can't do anything now, Hotwire doesnt have a low price guarantee on car rentals, no exchanges and no refunds allowed.

Hertz is very easy to get to from the airport and we have always found them quick and reliable. Hope this helps.

Hertz is great. The shuttle is very fast and you rarely hear of the "hard sell" on the insurance that you get at Budget.

That said, this is a risk. I have actually never used Hotwire to rent a car, I can generally beat their price and normally I can rent cheaper then Priceline will give me a car for.
