I just bought an 8 day, hopper, with expiration for my DD (3) 2 days ago from Ticketmania and the price has gone up $13 since then. Thanks for the warning to whomever mentioned it earlier this week! Every little bit helps!

OMG!!! I just calculated the price increase by percentage!

The old gate price for a 10-day premium no-expiry adult pass was $414.29 with tax. The new price at the gate (according to Ticketmania) is $463.30 for the same ticket. That's an 11.8% increase in price! The other passes did not icrease quite as much. Comparing other prices:

3-day Base (adult) old= $182.12 new = $192.77 % increase = 5.8%​

5-day Hopper w/expiry (child) old = $202.35 new = $215.13 % increase = 6.3%​

6-day adult hopper w/no-expiry old = $293.94 new = $310.98 % increase = 5.7%​

7-day w/waterpark & more, adult expiry old = $259.86 new = $270.52 %increase = 4.1%​

But

10-day hopper child no-expiry old = $321.63 new = $368.49 % increase = 14.5%!!!!!!!​

Make me wonder why Disney raised the price on their costliest ticket so much. I guess maybe it was too much of a bargain?

Wow.... I never thought they'd increase the prices before the New Year. I suspect this reflects a bit of understanding of the impact of the Internet. The faster word gets around about things that are better not announced in advance (like price increases), the more companies need to make those changes less predictable.

Some of the increases are much bigger than others! Whew. All told, we saved $118 by ordering our five tickets last month.

Has anyone noticed that the # of Plus visits on Ticketmania is different than the WDW website? On every ticket package Ticketmania is showing one more Plus visit than the Disney website. For example, Ticketmania is advertising that the 3-day MYW Plus comes with 3 visits vs the WDW website which shows only 2...wouldn't Ticketmania be selling the same ticket packages as Disney? I'm assuming the Disney website is also displaying 2006 ticket prices because they're referring to the Plus option as the new Water Park Fun & More option.

I compared the 2005 prices on discountorlandovacations.com to the Ticketmania 2006 prices and the 3-day MYW plus on Ticketmania is $20 more but they're advertising 3 Plus visits vs 2 on discountorlandovacations...I don't get it!!

Wow, I just checked Ticket Mania....my 10 Day Non-Expiring Hopper went up $43! I paid $332 with the MouseSavers discount and now it's $375!

So glad I ordered a couple weeks ago and didn't wait until after New Year's like I was planning to! Whew!

I just went to Mousesavers (whilst in panic mode) and I'm nearly certain that the tickets I had been meaning to purchase were the same price?!

I was looking at the 7 Day Magic Your Way Adult Expiry Park Hopping & Water Park Fun & More (6 Visits) and when I put everything into my cart it was the same price as I had written down in my notebook!

Of course, I went ahead and bought them (just in case). Maybe I got lucky? Maybe I'm in denial? Maybe I haven't gotten enough coffee this morning?

But I do have tickets to WDW.

Check out undercovertourist.com - They seem to have the cheapest prices on the 10 day, non-expiring adult tickets with park hopping and water parks,etc !

It looks like Ticketmania has gone "bonkers" with their ticket prices.
I remember a few months ago, Mary had to "put the squeeze"(so to speak) on them to come down below undercovertourist's prices.

I tried to order through Ticketmania last night when the site said under reconstruction. I went ahead and ordered through Maple leaf (thank you foxfire), so I hope it goes through at the old prices. There was a very large increase in the 10 day passes, so I am glad I went ahead and put in the order!

If you have the money available to invest in tickets right now, I would get them today. You're taking about a sizeable chunk of change when you're buying for 5 people. If you buy 10-day premium passes today, you'll save around $200 over what you would pay tomorrow or later.

May I ask where you found this? I haven't been able to find anything about APs.

Also, anyone know if current APs will renew based on the purchase price or the new increased price?

Thanks to all the notices on the disboards- i did splurge, and get 10 day nonexpirys about 3 days ago....I cringed while doing it, but knowing we have them tucked away for use in the future is nice..At Ticketmania, it seems throuh mousesavers the cost per day with a hopper,nonexpire 10day cost per day is about 30...to buy ONE ticket for a day at the gate is over 60!?!?!?!? what? how could an average family afford that?

Where can we find info on FL resident seasonal passholders? And if our passes don't expire until May 2006, should we go ahead and get new ones now anyway?
