I added one day of park hopper tickets for something like an additional $12.00! :cool1:

I'm not quite sure why I didn't just do it in the first place?! :rotfl2: :confused3 :rotfl:

Are you saying that you can add days to an existing park ticket ?? for example, we have a couple of 6 day hopper tickets (no expiry) with a day or 2 left on each, am I able to add days to those for cheap ?!?! :confused3

no, I don't think so...

I have a package booked at the WL for 10 nights in 12/06, and only had a 9 day park hopper ticket, so I added an extra day.

You can apply the value of those two remaining days to the purchase of new passes but it won't be worth it. With each day used, Disney will subtract the value for that day from your pass. So after you use the first day of any pass, Disney subtracts the value of a 1-day pass from your ticket. If you used 4 days, then they would subtract the value of a 4-day pass. Since adult 6-day MYW Hoppers (no-expiry) cost $293.94 at the gate and a 4-day Hoppers (no expiry) cost $250.28, the value of your two remaining days is $43.66. Since that won't go very far towards purchasing a new MYW Hopper, I would advise you to just use them for 2 days of admission.

I think that ChristyJ was commenting that it was only $12 more to get the 10-day passes for her family rather than the 9-day passes she origianlly intended to get for her upcoming 10-day stay.

TicketMania's price for the 10-day non-expiring premium ticket went up $69 - although now there are 6 plusses instead of 5. Makes me glad I ordered mine on Christmas!

Yes, sorry I didn't clarify...you're right, that's what I meant! :flower:

well, I hope I don't regret this.....I ordered a 10 day premium pass, non expiring, before the price changed, from discount orlando vacations. I have never used them before.....I hope it's okay.

We have 20 days of various passes (old park hoppers) already, so with this pass, we have 5 days at the big parks for each member of my family and multiple water park days. Of course, I don't imagine us going until 2007 or 2008, but at the rate the passes go up, I'm getting a better return on my money than the bank!!

I also ordered my ticket through discount orlando vacation and I have never used them before either. I placed my order around 9:30 yesterday morning and had no problem. I received my email order confirmation not long afterwards, so I'm hoping all is well with my order.

I also ordered a 10 Day pass, yesterday at 1:45, from Discountorlandovacations. I paid the old price and got an email confirmation. This is my first time ordering from them, too. Hopefully, I will receive it without any problem. I always ordered through Ticketmania, but their prices were already changed to the new prices.

For those who plan on using various old hoppers with days remaining on them...everyone now has to do the finger scan, so make sure you use them correctly. We had two old hoppers, with three days on each one. The plan was for my DD to use up one, and use two days on the other, and my DH was going to use the last day for himself. We couldn't do it. He ended up having to buy a one day pass for over $60 and my DD has a hopper with one day left on it, and has no idea when she will be going again.

I believe the one day passes are bought by those that don't plan ahead well and underestimate what they'll need and/or decide to stay an extra day so they go ahead and purchase that one day pass to extend the fun.

:3dglasses
Or perhaps those who come to the area for business trips (either ducking out for a day, or only being able to stay for one -fun- day), or those who get stuck in the area due to bad weather...(say, Daytona fans who came for Daytona and get snowed in, so to speak, for an extra day). There are a LOT of conference/business travelers that come to the Orlando area!

HI~ Oh...I'm in "Panic Mode" also!
Last night, the Annual pass was about $410...Now it's $515!!!

Oh...I am so, so sorry! :guilty:
YIKES! I guess you all figured it out: I was looking at the wrong prices!
I was in panic mode-
I mistakingly compared the AP prices to the PAP prices.
Sorry again.

Thank God I bought my tickets in October. I have enough days on various tickets for my next THREE trips!!!! I won't have to buy tickets until 2008 or later!!!!!

For anyone who might currently be in panic mode while being hungover - I just checked Undercovertourist.com and they do still have the 2005 prices posted.
:cool1:

Disney Stores won't be selling the new tickets until Jan. 4th at the earliest. Their prices are higher than most online agencies, but probably lower than the 2006 prices at the discounters.

I'm so glad I ordered my ticket a few weeks ago. It came on Friday with alot of great Orlando tourist info. I also saved $69 on my 10 day premium ticket, which I will use over my next 3 or more trips. I'm getting all excited about planning for my fall 2006 trip!!! Yippee!! :cheer2:

Happy New Year!! :wave2:
