We will be in Paris in 2 weeks, and DD has decided she really wants to visit DLP while we are there. Should we try and purchase tix prior to leaving or is it just as easy to buy on-site?

We are staying at the Hilton by the Eiffel Tower. What is the best way to get to DLP and how long will it take?

TIA!

Welcome to the DLP board :)

The tickets are very easy to buy when you get there. You can see the ticket prices here. So you could do some working out with the exchange rate and see which works out better value for you.

The trip to DLP from Paris will take approximately 40 minutes - have a look at this thread for the RER information. Others may be able to help you with the specifics in Paris!!

Thanks everyone! I'm a little concerned about queues from reading this board. We will be there on Monday 7/10.

Do most people wear shorts or jeans to DLP? Or something else entirely?

Our trip is just me and DD18... it's a graduation gift. We are visiting Paris, London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki & St. Petersburg Russia.

What a wonderful present for your DD! :sunny: and for you! :goodvibes

I *think* the French schools will have broken up by then so it may be fairly busy but you are very wise to be going on weekdays. We went in August last year which is a school holiday for all of Europe and the weekends were noticeably busier than weekdays but we still found the queues manageable.

I know you have to travel in from Paris but just try to get there as early as possible and use fastpass if possible.

People wear casual clothes just like in the US parks - shorts, jeans, Tshirts are all acceptable. :)

I'd definately buy them before you get to the park as there will be queues at the ticket boxes.

You can buy them from train staions in Paris & the Tourist info & the Disney shop on the Champs Elysee.

We are going to be their on 7/11 with dinner at cafe mickeys the night before and I am really glad we pre-bought our tickets, even though we have to pick them up at the park as we bought in a group. Still its one less thing to stress about. I am also glad were going on a weekday! Just a few more days to go! :cheer2:

i have just bought my two day hopper ticket - it saves £7 per ticket and i haven't got to queue up at the gates.

have fun!
