Buy tickets now or later?

Going to the World in January and looking for 7 day MYW base tickets. Planning on purchasing from Undercovertourist using the mousesavers newsletter link. My question is does anyone know if there are there any price increases coming in the next couple of months? We are planning on staying with my brother in law who lives in Orlando but we aren't 100% sure if we are doing that or if we will end up staying at a Value resort. If we do end up booking a resort I would love to get the free hopper upgrades but I don't know how long I can wait to figure all this out. Also, with the dollar I guess now is a good time to but the tickets too. Very unsure of what to do!!

Oh yeah...one other thing. At undercovertourist does it make a difference if you purchase in USD or CAD? Does it actually charge in the currency shown or do they just provide the conversion to give you an idea?

Ticket price increases are a bit of mystery.. Hard to predict when they're coming. The most recent one was in August, if that's helpful.

I believe they just show the conversion to be helpful, but I've never bought from them. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that.

I bought tickets a few months ago and from what I remember (correct me if I'm wrong) it was on my credit card in US $, the Cdn. amount is just for conversion purposes to give you an idea. It's hard to know what to do. We bought before the price increase but now the Cnd. $ is worth so much more, we figure we came out about even.

BTW it appears that the undercover tourist website has not noticed the increase in the Cdn dollar.

I bought last week and the Cdn price was about $30 MORE expensive that the USD price. So I paid in US dollars and when it was converted by my credit card I saved about 100 bucks.

I ended up going through the process of purchasing the tickets on undercovertourist and selecting the CDN $ price and on the last page it tells you the US amount and says it is charging in US $. The converstion feature on the site is just to show you an approximate cost in your currency and it is updated as it showed just under 1.07 yesterday.

I bought my 10-day hopper plusses no exp. [thru undercover] and Universal $86 tickets when the dollar was .92 months ago. I was happy with the price. I'll use the tickets over 4 trips to Florida...that's about 10 years! Based on 3% inflation, 10 years is a significant increase. S

We are buying DVC next week and will be buying the Park Hopper + Water Park Fun & More (10 day) - No Expiration tickets as we will only be going once a year for a while. No more commando trips trying to get our money's worth and even better we can use these tickets at Disneyland also which will be nice when the GCV open up! I would buy now while the dollar is high as ticket prices will never go down!
