Hello,

I was wondering if many people choose to purchase a package or is it always better to buy components separately. I am considering the Dream Maker package with the Prince/Pricess add on. We have a 4 yr old daughter and I like that it has preferred seating for select shows like Playhouse Disney and Beauty and the Beast. We are going in July so the crowd average will be high and with these vouchers we get to sit up front and won't have to wait the usual 30 min to and hour. It also includes a character breakfast which we intend on doing and 50 Disney Dollars for our daughter to spend in the parks. Right now there are no discounts for July so the price seems worth it. A little more than 1,700 for six nights at the All Stars including a UPH. Does this sound reasonable or am I being robbed:confused: Just hoping for some helpful advice. BTW I LOVE THESE BOARDS!

I bought my Disney vacation as a package and got an awesome deal, I would definately recommend checking out the sites on the internet that offer packages. I got mine from hotels.com but there are a million, good luck!

I've read that it's usually cheaper to buy the components cheaper, but tonight I was collecting quotes for an October trip ... airfare w/package $954 ... airfare purchased from airlines website $954.

Then I priced the difference of UPH tickets for our stay vs. park hopper plus tickets ... the dream maker package was cheaper by about $40 (2 adults/2 kids), plus you get a couple of freebies ... lanyard w/pins and the option of mini-golf, etc.

I am hoping that Disney Visa will offer another discount package in October ... I saved $346 on our trip in January and that included staying an extra night.

You might be able to do it more cheaply on your own, but you won't get the preferred seating that you do with the prince/ princess package, which it seems is important to you; and in the crowded summertime, you are gonna want that preferred seating::yes::. I dunno, 6 days for $1700 including UPH sounds pretty decent for a family of 4, especially if you are getting the prince/ princess pkg. You get a few other goodies with that don't you? Like maybe a character breakfast or two? (and be sure to get those PSs exactly 90 days out and @7AM.

Have a great trip!
