Hi everyone. We are planning on going Nov 16th. We are mostly Disney people but enjoy Universal as an extra. Anyway, we'd like to visit the main attractions for both parks on one day.

Eventually we might add a second day. My question is, can you buy admission for only one park and if you are ahead of plan upgrade it that same day to visit the second park?

I know it must not be recommended to go to both parks on the same day, but if we get the feeling that crowds are on the low side we might go to the second park.

Hope I,ve been clear,

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can but that second park must be visited within 14 days of the first park. Multi-day tickets are good for 14 days.

It's very easy to upgrade single park tickets to Park-to-Park. We did that last year when we entered US early in the morning only to find most of the attractions still closed. We just stopped by guest services, paid a $30 upgrade fee, and hopped back to IOA for the morning.

Of course, nowadays I just buy the park-to-park up front, just to keep my options open.
