Buy now or take my chance with AAA?

HELP! Last night I read on the DIS that admission prices will be going up Sunday. I joined AAA a few months ago with intentions of purchasing tickets there. Today I found out that the AAA office does not open on Saturdays. Someone said that they might have some tickets at the old prices remaining on Monday. However, if they don't, then I've missed my chance to get them at the Disney Store today. Should I buy them today at Disney Store or take my chances with AAA on Monday. I need to buy 7 5-day hoppers.

Well, someone from AAA posted that it will take a while for the price changes to go through the AAA offices, so you may be in luck.

But, if it's worth the $10 for your piece of mind to have those tickets in hand, buy them today. I stopped at the Disney store to buy something for my nephew, and on an impulse, bought annual passes for my honeymoon. I feel better having the vouchers, and I saved $23. (The $10 increase per ticket, plus the $3 I was planning on having to pay to have them shipped)

I just checked the AAA website for WI and the prices for 4 day park hoppers as of today were:
Adult $199.26
Child $157.59

They didn't have 5 day passes listed.

I found these current prices for 4 or 5 day PH on Mousesavers:
4-Day Park Hopper (gate price) - $221.52 Adults (10 and older); $177.86 Children (3-9)

4-Day Park Hopper (advance purchase price) - $204.48 Adults (10 and older); $161.88 Children (3-9)

5-Day Park Hopper (gate price) - $254.54 Adults (10 and older); $204.48 Children (3-9)

5-Day Park Hopper (advance purchase price) - $231.11 Adults (10 and older); $183.18 Children (3-9)

Ticket prices for Park hoppers are going up tomorrow(these prices must be with tax):
5-day adult PHs will go from $269 to $282

5-day kids PHs will go from $216 to $226

I would assume the advance purchase prices would go up about the same...


Could you possibly try to purchase the tickets online at www.aaa.com (just put in your zip code and it will take you to your state's website.)

If you can't purchase them online, it may be worth your while to go purchase them at the Disney Store. You would save more thatn $70 if you got them today. Based on the 4 day PH price you may save $5 (over the advanced purchase price) on each pass by purchasing them at AAA, but it's hard to say if they will still be at these old prices on Monday at your AAA office.

So if you wait you may save another $35-40 but you may lose that $70 savings if AAA has increased their prices.

Thanks so much for responding to my post. I think that I will get them today. If I get them today, I'm assured some savings. I'll be taking a gamble if I wait until Monday.
