Buy discount tickets at local stores in Kissimmee?

I have heard that some stores in this area or for that matter in the Orlando area buy unused tickets for WDW, Universal and Seaworld from visitors who have no need for them. In return, they sell these tickets (of course higher to make their profit) but can still sell them at a discount price over the parks, etc.

Does this information sound familiar to anyone? Is this true?

I do remember always seeing signs in front of drug stores, etc (get your discount park tickets here)

We would like to have a short 3 day visit, one day each at WDW, Universal and SeaWorld and need to find the least expensive way to purchase tickets for 5 people.

I may be naive, but I don't think those signs refer to partially used tickets. Florida law prohibits resales of partially used tickets. I'm sure there are people who deal in such items, but you're more likely to meet them by the roadside than via advertising in a store window.

Just a word of warning that if you choose to buy tickets sold as "one day hoppers" or something like that, there is no way to determine the actual content of a park pass until it's scanned at the turnstiles. You've probably got just as good a chance of being defrauded as actually getting what was promised.

Your best bet is just to buy a one-day, one park pass when you arrive at WDW.
