Ah, filtered water in the parks! After our last trip (Oct 03), we should have bought stock in Coca-Cola. We went through Dasani like it was going out of style! For this trip (May 04), we invested $14 in two Brita bottles, and probably saved $60 or so!

They were cheap, easy to use, and the water they produced was quite good!

Look for them at K-Mart, Target, Walmart, or other places like that.

I just got two that I purchased off of eBay. Brand new and 16 filters for $20 and free shipping. I think it was probably the same vendor that frannn bought hers from.

We use a Brita pitcher at home all the time. The tap water here is very high in chlorine. It does a great job of removing that smell/taste. I'm looking forward to using ours in WDW. Now if I can just convince the kids to carry their own....

We use a Brita pitcher at home (a lot!!) and really like it. I have been considering getting Brita bottles for a Disney trip, but have wondered if they wouldn't be too cumbersome to carry around? (The couple times I've been to Disney before I've never carried ANYTHING in the parks except for tickets, $$$ and a park map brochure.)

Received mine last week! We've used them before in WDW, and the beautiful thing about these is the ability to fit ice in through the top. I fill the bottle in the morning with ice from the machine at the All Stars, then enjoy the water as the ice melts through the morning. I just refill with fountain water in the afternoon. I keep mine strapped around my neck in a bottle holder (gets a little cumbersome), but just bought the Disney cooler from DS.com, on sale at 19.99. There is a water bottle holder attached to this bag. I was disappointed to see the Disney logo on the cooler was screenprinted instead of embroidered, and the shoulder strap is a bit short for me, but I believe this bag is big enough to carry all our stuff in the parks (Brita bottle, diaper supplies, wallet, snacks, mini fan, Mickey walkie-talkie, phone, extra t shirt). I am going to pack DD11's suitcase with all new clothes and goodies. A brand new Brita bottle will be amongst her Mickey shirts!

We have used them for every trip. 3 Disney, Canada, Jamaica, we do not leave home without them. Bought a nice carry strap at Epcot

We used these on our last trip and it saved us a ton of $. DH and I had each brought our own, but ended up carrying just one to the parks. We just threw it in the backpack...didn't have any problems with leaking or anything. We got ours on sell at drugstore.com for about $7/each last year and I was able to earn clickrewards on them plus airline miles for paying with my CC. Well worth it!
