I just found this great offer and I'd thought that I'd share some additional details that I discovered (Universal and Bealls are both under-informed, but I think that I have good information after an hour+ on the phone with 5 different people from both companies :rotfl: )

1. You do NOT have to be a FL resident to take advantage of this offer.

2. There is NO min. purchase requirement at Bealls to get the code.

3. Up to six passes can be purchased per code.

4. Supposedly, you can either buy tickets onsite or online, but not on the phone ( :confused3 )

5. Here is the link from the Universal site
http://www.universalorlando.com/annualpass/index.php.html

The other details are listed below -

Limited Time Offer - Buy One Year & Get One FREE!
Now you can Buy One Year and Get one FREE when you purchase a Preferred Annual Pass for $179.95 plus tax with a special coupon code from a Bealls Department Store receipt*.

Enjoy 2 years of park-to-park access to both Universal Studios Florida® AND Universal's Islands of Adventure®, FREE parking**, plus discounts on food, merchandise, and more!

Passes must be purchased by 9/30/2006 and activated by 12/30/2006.
Restrictions apply. Please see complete ticket details for more information.

Find a Bealls Department Store to get your receipt with the discount coupon code.

* Bealls Department Store receipt must be dated 5/19/2006 thru 8/31/2006. Pass will automatically activate on 12/30/2006. Pass valid for two years from date of activation.
** Free parking is not valid on your first visit to the parks.

This topic has been discussed in detail on this thread. The Bealls code is not a unique code so you can order as many AP's as you require but you might be limited to the six you were told on each transaction. As mentioned in the other thread, the online code is BEALLS06 and no receipt is required for an online purchase.

Darn. I went through all that trouble to go post that code in the other thread before anyone else and someone else steals my thunder. :) Time to return this tree frog to Bealls

Sorry ChrisK, didn't mean to steal your thunder. I was the OP of the other thread and you do deserve the recognition for posting the code. Just didn't want to see this thread go through the same questions that had already been asked and answered.

No thunder stolen. I was just playing. The real credit goes to you for posting the original thread. I should have just called up Bealls for the code, it would have been faster. Drove all the way to John Young & Sand Lake (for those that know the Orlando area, it's right near that Super Walmart at the same intersection) and had my wife rummage though stuff for the kitchen. Made it out of there w/o losing a lot of $$. Silly generic codes.
