Buttons in Downtown Disney?

I will be going with a first timer next week and we will arrive on a Saturday and not go to the parks the first day but do Downtown Disney and Goofy's Kitchen. Is there anywhere in DTD to get the park buttons? Will they give them out at GC or DLH if you are not staying there? We are staying across the street at the courtyard by Marriott.

You could recently get them at World of Disney. Can’t promise that will be the case when you’re there, but it’s worth a try.

And you might try asking at GK -- they've had them in the past. No guarantees, but it can't hurt to ask.

End of July, we got buttons from Guest Services desk at the Grand Californian. We weren't staying at the hotel but still were able to get birthday button for me and 1st visit button for my kids.

That’s a great idea I hadn’t thought of. I can try there and then maybe the hotels after if they don’t have them. We can always get them in the parks, I am just trying to save time.
