Butter from HDDR

My sister has been looking for the sweet butter from the HDDR, any ideas where she could get it? We live in NJ and she has not found it in her local Shop Rite or Stop n Shop.

Isn't it just a honey butter? I think you could probably make your own by whipping some butter with honey.

That's what we think too! It's honey butter. You can very easily make your own.

How do I mix it? How much honey to butter?

It depends, some honey is sweeter than others. Just add it slowly while whipping and do taste tests. Also different honeys will have different flavors, depending on the flowers the bees visit.

I saved a link not too long ago from a poster here that has some recipes from WDW. This is what it showed for honey butter.

Honey Butter
Walt Disney World
1/3 cup honey
2 cups (1/2 pound) butter, softened

Beat honey into softened butter until blended. Refrigerate in small molds or serve in bowls.

Country Crock has just come out with a new honey butter also. I haven't tasted it, but I did see it in the grocery store yesterday. They also have cinnamon butter--which I assume is like the butter served at Texas Roadhouse.

tried both of these and the honey butter you make your self (the WDW recipe above) is much better than the counrty crock one. the cinnamon country crock one is pretty darn tasty tough. they also have a pumkin butter one that they had out around fall. yummy!
