It delicious!!! Its not too sweet at all, although I can only speak for the frozen version. Its not as sweet as regular soda, I would say tastes like cream soda with a butterscotch kick, with some kind of cream on top. You must try it. I skipped it our first time because it sounded too sweet for my liking. We tried it this last time, and I went back 3 more times...

Now that would be fun.

The ingredients are just a bunch of chemicals (when we first went the TM let me see the ingredients, and I really should have taken a picture), but it tastes good. I personally like the frozen kind a million times more than the cold (liquid) version. And the topping is the same for both, but it melts weirdly on the cold while it stays "together" more on the frozen, which makes me happier.

My son prefers cold, and DH can take either. so make sure you have the room and budget to try both.

Well if the frozen one is too thick for you, you can just pull the cap off your water bottle and add a little vodk--ummm-------I mean water! Yea, water, that's it.

Always make sure you utter the phrase "boy this is too thick to drink, I'm adding a little water to it!" while doing this. Also works on frozen lemonades.

I did have a frozen butter beer and one of the craft beers together, about 10:30 AM one morning. I now don't recommend that combination.

It is sweet as everyone has said, but it's delicious. Has a butterscotch taste. I had the frozen last week for the first time (our first visit there). I loved it. You can get it in a plastic cup or a souvenir cup.

Butterbeer is a cloyingly sweet - almost disgustingly so - beverage served in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at IOA. It comes in two varieties - draft and frozen - and is topped with a creamy foam substance. They will not give you straws with the draft version because mixing the foam and the liquid results in a chemical reaction causing the contents to rapidly expand, much like the expanding insulation they sometimes spray in the walls when building homes. Two sips of the stuff and your teeth will start to ache from the sweetness.

That said, if you're visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at IOA, you should definitely try some.

They are serving lunch at that hour so it counts as midday! Gets confusing if you are on pacific time still, though.

I like the frozen better. But very sweet, it didn't quench my thirst at all; I still needed a bottle of water with my meal. The foamy head tasted like marshmallow to me. We saw people ordering it from the outside kiosk at 8:15am and DH said "all that sugar'll really wake you up!" Lol.

We love the frozen! We usually split one which means that I only get a few sips.
