Butcher Steak at Sci-Fi

I was just wondering if anyone has had the Butcher Steak at Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre. We'll be there in 2 weeks and I was just looking over the menu and noticed the steak. I like a nice, tender steak, is it like that??? Does it have any sauces or spices put on it?? Any comments would be greatly appreciated

I had it back in February and it was delicious! Came with a red wine glaze, I believe. (Very light glaze, worked well with the steak.) It was extremely tender and utterly tasty. (Had it last year, and it was awful. Have no clue what they changed, but I'm glad they did.)

We had dinner at Sci Fi in May and I am sorry to say it was our worst meal of the entire vacation! I had the ribs and they were terrible, couldn't even get the meat off the bone they were so tough! YUCK. We all left still hungry and we are not picky eaters. I would not recommend eating there.

Glad to hear that someone had a tasty steak at Sci-Fi. The general consensus around here has been to stick with the burgers, onion rings and shakes for the best experience at Sci-Fi.

OK, I have to ask (and please don't take this the wrong way)... if it was awful last year, why did you get it again in February?

I usually stick to the burgers at Sci-Fi... but if the steak is that good, I'd give it a shot.

We went 2 yrs ago & vowed to never go back! DH had ribs & was VERY sick for 2 days after. DS & I had butcher steak & both really hated it. I will add, we have decided to give it another try for lunch this year & stick with sandwiches. I beleive any place can be off once in awhile.

I had the unfortunate experience of having the butcher steak at Sci-Fi. It was disgusting! The meat was very tough, and did not taste good at all. The sides that came with it (half-raw potatoes) weren't any better. My family was underwhelmed with their dinners also. Sci-Fi was the worst waste of a TS credit for us, truly.
