We just booked to go with family and we'll be bringing a two year old.
Curious how that went for other two year old kiddos.
Could they stroller their way till close to nap time okay?

Was there enough to do in the MK to go two days since they can't ride a lot?
Which other park would you visit?
How many hours was doable in a day?

Happy to hear any tips!

Totally depends on the kid! Our oldest first went when she was ~18mo, and just napped in the stroller, so we just stayed in the park all day. Our youngest first went when he was just over 2, and he refused to stroller nap so we had to take him back to the resort to nap.
Of the four parks, Hollywood Studios may have had the least appeal for our kids when they were that young. MK, there's still a lot to do even without rides (esp the character meet and greets).

Everybody does Disney differently. For us, we just took cues from the kids (getting hungry/getting tired/getting over-stimulated), and adjusted plans on the fly.

Good luck, have fun!

I've gone with a 20 month old twice.

While my oldest was able to stroller nap, she was also up at the crack of dawn and tapped out of the parks by 7. We did all 4 parks, but I think we spent the least amount of time in DHS (Toy Story Land was still under construction). My in-laws were with us so we had a non rider who could stay with her.

Trip number 2, our youngest was 20 months old and she wasn't the greatest at stroller napping. We were at the Poly (rolled in a cancelled covid trip into an upscaled experience) so we could swing by the resort easily enough when we were hopping between MK and Epcot

Major suggestion: eat dinner earlier than you would at home. I always plan to book a dinner by 530 at the latest. Anything later and it's too close to hangry ville.

My kids at that age always enjoyed epcot.

I agree with @pks_domer who said it's completely dependent in your kids in particular. My kids are great at waking up early, and they never really needed a nap, but it was absolutely critical that they were in bed early at night. So our days were mostly rope drop, early lunch around 11:00, early dinner around 4:00, and we were leaving the parks by 5:30 for bed by 7:30. Mom and Dad spent a lot of time reading in bed or on the balcony those evenings.

Totally varies by kid. We found that age SO easy! Our kids would hang out in the stroller, napped there as needed, no end to things for them to do/ride, and spent a good amount of time walking so they took those stroller naps... those were the days we could go rope drop to park close and it was still fun for all of us. We were mostly doing 7-9 day trips back then and would easily spend 4-5 at least partly in the MK.

When they started walking themselves, too big for a stroller around 7-8 and getting tired, crabby, stressed out because they couldn't hide from people... It went downhill until this year when the youngest is basically just a short adult so we really appreciate that we went in those early years.

Then we went with a family who is much more rigid in their habits, kid HAD to nap in the room, in complete silence and be in his physical bed by ~8 PM. Would stroll but dad didn't want to risk them running off so the stroller was treated like a prison. To us it basically killed the day. I bet they are going to think WDW is awesome around 7-8 years old.

So think about who your kid is, and how YOU manage situations with either strolling or walking with you in a crowd when they want out.

OH- and the real tip, seriously, you are who popcorn buckets and those Gogo squeeze type pouches are made for. You are walking an extra 5 miles/day, and so may be your child. You are all hungry even though you "just ate" or dinner is "only an hour away" Yes, healthy snacks are great but at some point you also have to go for "here, stuff this in your face so you can smile again" until you get to the food. Every time someone has started to so much as look like they might not smile we have handed them food and water and it has been a lifesaver.

DS loved MK at 18 mths and was a good stroller napper. We did a full day at MK as part of a trip to visit family that year.

I would say do whatever (repeat MK day or other parks) everybody else wants, as the 2yo won't know what they're missing and will probably enjoy looking at anything. - But if I had to pick a second park specifically for that age, it would be AK.
