I just watched this again today. This film is such a guilty pleasure for me, and I just felt the need to shout it out to the DIS. Has anyone else seen this movie? For those who have not, the plot is as follows: Megan is sent to a reparative therapy camp to become a heterosexual after her friends and family have an "intervention" and tell her she is a lesbian, a fact she realizes and comes to terms with at the camp.

I'm not gay, but I saw this thread title on the main page and wanted to comment on how much I liked the movie. I am always on the prowel for these lesser known movies that turn out to have a really clever plot. If you haven't seen it, it is definitely worth seeing.

I saw this for the first time last summer on Bravo at like 3am--I loved it! I really liked how it totally showed how ridiculous stereotyping by sexual orientation really is, and thought Clea DuVall gave a great performance. Naive as I must be, I had no idea that there were actual organizations that tried to 'reprogram' teens or adults into heterosexuals--but I guess that, sadly, there are.

I love this movie as well.My favorite is the "ex ex gays" who live nearby and sneak all the kids out to the gay bar. They just crack me up!

I love the art direction and wardrobe in that movie... everything was so... PINK!
