I will be at OKW from Jan 11-23 in a two BR.

What will be the approximate occupancy rate during that stay? 95%? 75%? 50%?

Any interesting info or insights about DVC occupancy rates will also be appreciated.

call the resort and ask them - this is not a question someone here could answer.

now if you want a guess - then 75%?????

I have found DVC members like early December - points are low, crowds are lows, and WDW (all of it) is beautiful

that is probably the harder time to get

Thanksgiving, most of October, May, are all getting harder to get.

kept in mind that DVC has the right (it is in your contract) to allow CRO (WDW) to rent any villa that are not filled at 60 days.

they are good at it - so most of the time DVC resorts are filled with either DVC members or renters. most of time 90 to 95% filled even in the off season -

I can't speak to OKW... But when we were at VB in mid December, one of the CM's mentioned that they were at 40%.

Not sure how accurate that was, but the resort was definately quiet.. :smooth:

September and January are typically slow for WDW because kids have just been out of school for extended periods and are now back in -- tough to pull them out again. It's the folks with pre-school or no school age kids that are in the World.

I can't begin to guess what the occupancy would be -- the low points and winter escape are pluses for many DVC members. Some even begin extended stays for January-March.
