Busy signal for days, can't get thru!!

I am trying to call in and all I keep getting is a busy signal to the DVC number.... anyone else?
 
My only advice is to call exactly when they open, like set your clock to the atomic clock so you can call exactly when the call center opens.
 
Yes! I finally got through today around 4:15 ET. I had to hold for an hour but the cast member was very friendly and helpful.
 
I had to call this morning to link 2 reservations across two memberships. I had to dial about 30 times before I got through and then had to wait 50 minutes.

My 2.5 hour call said this wasn't possible. I mean, I don't care that much. I'd rather move rooms than wait on hold for MS again.

My linking definitely worked as when I put the one confirmation number in MDE it showed up will all the days of the linked reservation. I tried to put in the second confirmation number but it said it was already added and sure enough it was. Maybe they did it for me because we are in the middle of a gratuitous transfer of points from my MIL and they will be my points very soon. The deed should be recorded any day. I wanted to make sure that the reservation wouldn’t get canceled during the transfer but I was reassured it wouldn’t. I was trying to wait to make this reservation til the points were in our account but it’s for Easter weekend and Disney has been slow to load after deed recording. I saw a standard view 1bd for BLT and grabbed it making the two reservations simultaneously one on my phone and the other account on my computer.
 
There really is no excuse why Disney can't fix this issue
Speaking with call center experience, I know there is no quick fix. I'd be satisfied (at least for awhile) if they would just tell us what they are doing to improve access and reduce hold times. (An estimated timeline would be nice, too). IMO, the failure to do that is what is inexcusable.

I would definitely check with the front desk when you arrive as I’m sure they would rather save time and money of having to clean a room and make it continuous on their end if MS said they can’t do it.

I always have them note on each part of my stays that we are continuing when staying on both my memberships.

I do just like you say and check at the front desk and so far never a problem. I have heard there are ways to link officials but also read that sometimes when that is done you can have difficulty modifying online so I have never asked for it to be under one number.

Yes, the other day I purchase 4 +2 tickets, not knowing you could buy 4, 5, 6 , etc plus 2. I talk to chat and a not so nice CM said I had to call ticketing, NOT MS. So I did. Waited forever then was told have to talk to MS. I tried calling a few time and just wasn't able to sit forever with phone, so after 45- 60 had to hang up. Now I called again was told 35 min wait. it was 45 min . Talk to CM and said I need to transferred you. I've been waiting almost an hour with the transferred part, but there was no timeline noted at all. At this point , I'll wait and get it done. But part of me is thinking how crazy is this, waiting for 2 hours to give disney money.


All told 2 1/2 hours on the phone. At least the second part of the wait was all music, not 5 sec music, 5 secs. announcetment, 5 secs music, 5 secs. announcement. for 45 mins.
