Busy day type thingies.....

Before our last visit I had no idea that things like the busy day guides existed so I planned our park days to suit ourselves.

Now I know about them I am stalling on booking a couple of character meals (as we have them at the parks) because I am wondering if I should be investing in one of these planners before I make the bookings and decide where we are going and on which days......

Any thoughts or should I just go with the flow. We are going in Feb 09 so it's not going to be overly busy but there again, if I thought I could pick a quieter day, I would ;)

If you haven't been before it would be wise to invest in a guide book of sorts. some include busy day guides and tell you which rides etc will suit you. some have touring plans, which I have used at really busy times of the year.

Feb is a quite time compared to july.

It depends on how badly you want to avoid the crowds and how obsessive you are ;) . As long as you avoid the EMH days, you shouldn't go far wrong.

It's all personal choice, we tend to rely on our own experience more than guide books.
Joshua being an early riser means we get to the parks for opening on the days we visit them.

Must admit we have never planned each and every day, we would only change our minds.

I have always been one for avoiding Magic Kingdom on Monday's, always a feeling they are slightly busier. Same applies to water parks at weekends.

Otherwise I wouldn't worry too much.
I would book the ADRs irrespective, pick which days you want to take them.

Hi guys and thanks for your replies.

We don't go overboard on the planning side, just like to have a rough idea of where we are going and when. We're always flexible though, especially with going in Feb as if the weather is fab we would make sure we were at a water park or in the pool to make the most of the weather on that day etc........

Where can I find out more about EMH days and what dates they fall on?? is this information available for Feb 09?? Apologies if I sound dumb :rotfl: but it's not something I have ever looked into.......

Here you go, these are subject to change so might need to bear that in mind.

I really must get our character meals sorted and a rough plan in place......
