What time do the busses start running from the hotels? I'm staying at AoA and we have a 715 am reservation at Chef Mickeys, will we need to get a cab?

1- 6:30am

2- Nope

Ask the bus driver if (s)he will
drop you directly at the Contemporary.

You may not need to get a cab, but it would save you a good chunk of time. Time that could be spent sleeping.

The latest you should be out at the bus stop is 6:30 am. And then you will need to wait and hope it is not too long before one comes along. And then if you get lucky the bus driver will drop you off right at the Contemporary. That is not a given. Otherwise you need to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and either walk or monorail to the Contemporary resort.

With a cab you simply get in the cab, and go directly to the resort. No muss, no fuss, no worrying about if you just missed a bus and when will the next one be along, and then will they drop you at the Contemporary or won't they.

To me using the buses for early morning ADRs is too much hassle and too much stress. Much simpler to get in a cab and go.

FYI I was told by a CM last trip that you have 3 hours after your reservation time to check in at the restaurant. I had asked at 1900PF because DD was asleep in her stroller at the time of our reservation. I gave her another hour to sleep. No problems.

Ummm, not always true. You may have been told that, but I have seen people arrive late and be told that they will be accommodated but they will have to wait a bit, in fact much longer than normal. I have seen people turned away when arriving an hour late. So, sure, there will be times that accommodations will be made, but don't count on it happening all the time. Best to be on time.

Wow, that is so wrong. I have heard people turned away because they were 30 minutes late to their ADR. I was told when we were a bit late (the cab we called never came) that the only reason they had held our ADR for us was because the monorail was down, so they were giving people extra time to make it to their ADR.

There is no way I would recommend showing up at any restaurant 3 hours late and expect to be seated. No way.
