My husband and dad are starting a business. We are in a desperate need of a software program so we can keep track of material cost, gas, labor, etc.

If anyone has ANY suggestions, please let me know. And I prefer a free program but I am willing to pay for the program.

TIA!!!!

If you go to Intuit's website you should be able to get the Quick Books Simple Start Free Edition. It is very easy to use. I am using it for a club where I am Treasurer and it gives very good controls for a small organization. There are some limits as to number of vendors and some other features. One important thing is if you ever decide to go to the regular (paid) edition you will be able to import all of your accounts and data.

And this is made by the same people who make Turbo Tax.
