busiest rides?

I will be at DW with my 12 yr. old Jan 3 - 6, spending one day at each park. I thought I would take advantage of you nice people who know a lot more about these things than I and ask a few questions: 1) what are the three busiest attractions at each park and 2) which have the fast pass option?

I'm thinking about heading straight for one of the attractions (the busiest?), grab a fast pass then go ride the other two attractions before returning to the first attraction with our fast passes.

On the other hand, I understand the crowds will be relatively thin that week so perhaps all this is not necessary.

I appreciate any advice you may want to pass my way. Thanks.

Epcot is pretty easy -
1 - Soarin
2 - Test Track
3 - Mission: Space

MGM -
1 - Tower of Terror
2 - Rock 'N Rollarcoaster
3 - Little Mermaid

MK -
1 - Space Mountain
2 - Peter Pan (this line moves VERY slowly)
3 - Big Thunder
If it is cooler, Splash Mountain will have a small wait. If it is warm, this will be busier

AK -
1 - Safari
2 - Dinosaur
3 - Primeival Whirl

Kali is the same as Splash Mntn. If it is warm, long lines. If not, it would have no line

I always grab a fastpass for RNR at MGM and wait in line for Tower. I find that the line for RNR is always longer than Tower.

MK- I think the "mountains" are 3 of the busiest rides, and all 3 have FP. It is Space Mt., Splash Mt, and BTMRR.

EPCOT- Test Track
Mission Space
Soarin

MGM- Rock and Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Little Mermaid

AK- Safari
Dinosaur
Tough to be a bug

Also make sure that if you are not doing early entry that you don't go to the park that has EE that day. And if you are doing it, make sure you get there before park opening to take advantage of the whole hour. Same goes for the evening extra hours.

Will you be able to hop between parks? Hopefully you will so that if you finish a park early or they close early, such as AK you can then hop to a park that is open later.

Keep in mind that if it's slow, the fastpass machines might still be covered up when you first arrive. That happened to us several times last January.

You forgot the wait from hell...

Dumbo in the MK.

Fortunately, your 12 yo probably won't want to go on this one. :rotfl2:

I HIGHLY recommend you go out an get the latest copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. It is definitely worth the information you'll get that will result in a better trip.
