I was wondering what time it is best to be waiting for a bus to the MK, if a family wants to get that extra hour of magic at the MK. We'll be at the Dolphin. I'd be interested in getting filled in.

Great Question:) we will staying at the Dolphin too and I was wondering just how early we should be at the bus stop and how early the busses start to run for the early entry parks? I am sure someone will help. Thanks in advance :p

I also would like to know this! I know for POR & CBR we were at the bus stop at 6:30 - 6:45ish to get one of the first runs to MK.
April is our first time at the Dolphin!

:Pinkbounc soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Swan in Dec and followed the same rule of thumb we usually do. We try to get to the bus stop 45 minutes before opening time. So if EE starts at 8:00 and we want to be there for that, we get to the bus stop at 7:15. We have never been first in line, but we are usually in the front of the crowd and it works well for us.

CamColt is about right. 45 mins. will get you into the thick of things, 15 mins earlier is our usual time and we're usually in the first few ranks behind the rope at drop time.

Hey Bill for PA!

I remember you! You were one of the helpful ones when I was planning this trip initially.

Thanks to you and CamColt for helping others and me out now.

What time would you and CamColt suggest a family get over to the bus stop if they wanted to be at the gate at 7:30? (We are early risers) Is there are "first bus"?

Also, I am assuming the bus stop is in front of the hotel and/or easy to spot. Is that correct?

I agree with the 45 minute time frame.
In regards to catching the bus, just ask the Front Desk or Disney Counter where to catch the Bus. They will point you right to it.

For a 7:30 gate time I'd allow 30 - 45 mins. The Dolphin bus stops at Swan first, Dolphin second then hits Yacht & Beach Clubs and sometimes Boardwalk. Depending on the season, you probably won't have much competition for seats, but the Boardwalk stop may slow you down.

The stop at Dolphin is slightly downhill to the left of the main enterance as you face away from the hotel. We were very satisfied with the bus service during our Nov. 2002 stay.

Dear Bill of PA,

We may just allow 45 minutes to cover all contingencies.

Thanks.
