Buses from CR to MK

I wasn't sure if this belonged here or on the resort board, so I am posting it both places. I have heard horror stories about the bus service from the CR. Would we be better off walking to the MK and catching a bus to AK and MGM? As I recall, it is a short walk. What about the water parks? Do the buses between parks operate really early in the morning in order for us to be at MGM or AK for rope drop? Thanks in advance.

You must go to the Transportation Center to catch a bus to AK or MGM which means you'd have to take the monorail to the TTC, unless, of course, you catch the buses from CR to the other parks. The buses at MK only go to resorts.

I really didn't have any issues with buses at the CR the 4 times we've stayed there.

No, early in the AM you need to take the resort bus.

Yes, you have heard horror stories and SOME of them are true. However, the truth is that MOST times the buses work great and then no one posts. People only post when they have a problem. So the 1 time out of a hundred gets posted.

I am reminded of the time I was waiting on a bus at OKW. When I got there I checked my watch due to "horror stories" I waited about 15 minutes which seems reasonable since the sign said buses ran every 20 or 30 minutes (can't recall now) I had been waiting about 5 mintues when a family showed up. Bus arrives and the family pushes past me and the others waiting to be the FIRST to borad. We are then held up while the Dad YELLS at the Bus Driver that he has been waiting over half an hour and this is unacceptable yada, yada, yada... I get on behind him and LOUDLY say... I only waited 15 minutes and you arrived after I did. (Dad shut up, Mom started yelling at him LOL!)

We never had issues with the busses from CR.

Thanks-I'm feeling much better now. It really makes sense that unfortunately only the bad things get posted. We should make an effort to post postives, too.
