Buses: can this be done?

Our last day at ASM will be a Sunday. We'd like to go to Pepper Market at CSR for breakfast. Our flight leaves at noon. Is it possible to take buses to CSR and get back to ASM in time for the bus to the airport? Or should we just abandon all thoughts of this?

There is no direct bus. The quickest way would probably be to take the bus to AK and get the CSR bus there. You could take a taxi. I think it's alot of hassle for the Pepper Market, breakfast food is pretty much the same everywhere.

I think you could try it. Go by bus to CSR then you can always take a cab back.

If your flight leaves at noon you're probably looking at a DME pickup scheduled at 9:00ish or a little after. It may be possible to get to CSR and back by bus in time to catch DME for your flight but I wouldn't recommend this approach. If you really want to go to the Pepper Market for breakfast then I would at least plan for a taxi ride back to ASM. The stress of worrying about timing issues would probably take any "fun" out of your breakfast plans.

One morning we took a bus to AK to catch a bus for breakfast at the Poly. I think we took AK rather than MK bus because it came first. Once we were at AK and waiting around, we found out buses normally do not return to resorts in the early morning hours. We we got very lucky and a kind CM drove us to Poly.

You'll be leaving on Magical Express early so a cab would be you're best bet, but I'd probably do the breakfast another morning.

A good decision!

ME will pick you up approx 3 hours +/- 15 minutes before flight time so figure 9AM.

You'll need to be at the ME bus stop 15 min early because the time on your paper work you'll receive the day before is the time the bus will leave ASM so assume 8:45 at the bus stop.

You'll need time to pick up carryons (either in your room or bell services) and last minute bathroom stops - another 15 minutes so 8:30.

Allow half an hour to get back from CSR by taxi so you'll have to exit Pepper Market around 8:00.

Not too much time to enjoy breakfast so I agree that it'll be better to eat at Pepper Market on a different morning.

We've stayed at the CSR three times, believe me breakfast at the Pepper Market is nothing special...certainly nothing worth killing yourself over.
