Are they still using Mears? And if so, how are they running? I would think it would be good if they are frequent as there are no stops to the other resorts In the Boardwalk area

I would ask this over on the Transportation Board!

Buses run frequently. Just returned 2 weeks ago. Not many people waiting. We walked to Yacht Club to catch a bus to MK because we wanted to skip TTC. Also we found out that the bus stop to Disney Springs was ridiculously far away so we used Yacht for that too. Never saw people having to wait for a second bus at Swan or Yacht but admittedly we got to the stop early. We absolutely loved the Swan.

We love the Swan too and will be there next Sunday. Just wasn’t sure how buses were running there. Thanks for the info!

We were there the first weekend they switched to Mears and didn't like it. Of course, we didn't know about the MK stop at TTC and that was our first experience. It probably took us an hour+ to get to MK after getting on the bus. We walked to Epcot and HS, and drove to DS and AK. The Mears busses were nicer than Disney's though.

They do or at least they did. They don’t check which hotel you are staying at

I never saw "RUSH" like precovid. I have seen videos of ridiculous lines at bus stop at Pop but not at Yacht Club.

The people who decide to walk from the Swan to take the Yacht/Beach Club bus are more than likely causing guests at The Beach Club to have to wait for a second bus. I know from being a frequent Beach Club guest (pre-covid) that there were times we had to wait for a bus because it filled up The Yacht Club. There may not be the same pre-covid rush, but the buses are not able to accommodate as many riders.

I think during the morning and evening rush, Disney should only allow guests staying at Yacht & Beach Club on their buses.

I agree! We stay at YC every trip, usually 3x a year. If you want the service provided by Disney resorts, pay the price & stay at their resorts. Make your displeasure with the transportation options known to Marriott & take your business elsewhere. It isn’t fair to Y & B guests to have folks from 2 other resorts riding their buses during busy times. Especially now with limited capacity.

Why don't they run the buses to Beach Club first? Then it would make a problem at Yacht Club stand out more and hopefully be easier to notice and then manage.

Aggrieved BC and also YC guests should bring it up with their own resorts first.

I've inquired about the order of pick-up before. I never did get a satisfactory answer as to why they always pick-up Yacht Club first.

Disney buses are not just for the guests of that particular resort. Disney wants people to visit their resorts, and then, hopefully book a stay. They want people eating and shopping at resorts other than their own.

I absolutely understand that & have no problem with that at all. That is different than guests from 2 other resorts all showing up for transportation to MK for park opening. I’m sure Disney plans for a certain number of guests, especially in the morning & at park close. Do you really think they are going to send enough buses to accommodate extra guests from swan & dolphin?

And if they do, I don’t care who is on the bus.

Has it shown it is enough guests walking over to truly affect the buses? From my stays at the boardwalk area, the buses and Yacht and Beach are always less than ideal.

Been going on fo years. People going to DS use SSR. People going from use Contemporary. People who park ar DS to avoid parking fee

And people going to International Gateway at Epcot take a bus to the Beach Club. No problem. But again, that is NOT the same thing as an additional 2 resorts guests showing up for transportation to park opening. That is not what we are talking about, just as I said in the post you quoted.

We're talking about non-resort guests using benefits some guests think are limited to registered guests. Some posters think guests taking an Uber to the Contemporary are using security that should be limited to Contemporary guests.

There is an opposite opinion. Guest from the S/D add to buss traffic. Typically Disney will dispatch extra buses if a full bus leaves pax behind. It's possible guests from S/D might increase number of buses.
Disney will decide if its enough of an issue to take action.

A typical guest is going to go to the S/D bus stop and take the appropriate bus.

Most guests don't spend time on fan forums.
A handful of guests walking over isn't a big deal.

I highly doubt more than a few guests are walking over to use the buses.
