Buses at POFQ During Holidays??

We're staying at POFQ from the 19th -25th of Dec. Do you think that crowd levels will bring out more buses and we won't share them with Riverside??? Trying to figure out if it will be nice not to share, (SORRY!) but then the reason for this IS because of the crowds!!!! Thanks!

Can't imagine them giving POFQ it's own bus. I was there in the height (and heat!) of summer this year and we still "shared" with POR, allthough we got the buses first.

If the crowd's are heavy, they'll just schedule all the buses they can based on the need of a given resort. That means more pickups per hour, not new scheduling of routes.

I was there in october, and while except for downtown disney busses, POFQ always got picked up first, there were times that if the bus was full after pofq, they seemed to skip going to riverside.
not sure how common that is.

I thought I've read other posts that sometimes the POFQ bus doesn't stop at the POR, and goes straight to the parks??? Do you know why??

When we were at POFQ last week during Jersey Week, they ran separate buses (POFQ and POR) to and from the Magic Kingdom during the busiest days, but it wasn't always. That was the only resort where this happened.

We also noticed that if the bus filled up when leaving POFQ, we sometimes skipped the POR stops. I imagine then they called another bus to go there.

Otherwise, we always stopped at POR. It didn't really add that much time to the ride--maybe 5 minutes or so--depending on how many people got on.

it seemed to do that if there were lots of people waiting at pofq. Sometimes they had a lady there with a clipboard too. I guess they figure if the bus fills up at pofq, why send it to riverside.. also, many times the buses dont go to all the riverside stops, I would say half the time they would only go to the main one.

Thanks everyone! I guess I'll just have to wait and see, and take a taxi if it the waits get real bad. (I'm refering mostly to coming back from the parks. I read somewhere that somebody waited for over an hour). Ouch!!! Anyways that has to be cheaper than renting a big van for 10 people for a week!!!

We stayed @ POFQ last April & some days the buses we were on did not stop @ POR. One of the bus drivers said it was because of the crowds. Have a great trip.

From my personal experience the issue was never getting onthe bus to the parks from POFQ, it was coming back from the parks. Be prepared at Epcot. This was the worst line we experienced besides MGM. Epcot though seem to have taken the longest though. I know we waited for over an hour for differnet buses to arrive. But hey I also realize that is unfortunately part of the experience if you plan to go to Disney.

It must have been your report that I read about waiting for over an hour at the parks!!! With my toddler DGS and 7 month pregnant DD-in-law, that just might push them over the edge!! Maybe DGS will be out of it and fall asleep. One can hope you know! Thanks for all of your responses!
