Buses and Park Hopping

For those who have done this, how early were buses available to park hop? Is it as soon as parks open or, is there a delay?

When we went in March I read they don’t start until 10. We do hop early a once (Maybe twice) usually, but we didn’t test to see if this was the case. The one morning we rode a couple rides in HS and were going to MK. We didn’t go to the MK bus stop at 9ish we just went to the Contemporary one and just walked over.

Transportation​

Bus transportation is now available between the theme parks beginning at 10:00 AM each day. Guests may also take the monorail when traveling between Magic Kingdom park and EPCOT. Bus services are not available from Magic Kingdom park to EPCOT at this time.

Just got back and the signs at the bus depot state that park to park service would operate after 10am.

If you need to get from one park to another earlier than the park-to-park busses are running, for MOST parks you can take a resort bus to one of the resorts that is connected to that park and walk or boat in...ie: Contemporary bus to get to MK, Beach Club bus to get to Epcot, Boardwalk bus to get to DHS. Since AK has no connecting resort, you'd have to do a double-bus run to get to that one.

Yeah 10AM for park to park - but if they are near a resort you can always do that.

Night hours vary by day\date\park for the most part - so you need to look up your dates on the Disney site
Also if your at a deluxe resort you may have extended hours

Thank you!! On bus now from MK to HS. First time doing park to park bus. Trying to save steps today . Will likely be a 4-park day .

They do not; you need to transfer at a resort. They also do not run in the opposite direction. This is specifically done to prevent people from parking for free at Disney Springs and using Disney transportation to get to the parks, overcrowding Disney Springs parking.

Walk out the international gateway and take the Beach Club bus to DS OR go out the main entrance. Take.a bus to SSR. Get off at the Congress Park stop and walk to DS.

You definitely would have been better off walking to Beach Club from Epcot's Int'l Gateway and grab that bus to Disney Springs. The only theme park that doesn't have an easy option is AK since there are no connected properties - any other theme park, you can walk to the connected/nearby resorts and catch Disney Springs busses - or busses to other theme parks - and vice-versa. For MK< a walk to Contemporary is the fastest, or boat to GF or Poly. From Epcot, walk out to Beach or Boardwalk. From DHS, you can walk to Boardwalk, or take the boat to Beach/Yacht/Boardwalk. Just keep it in mind next time you're at Disney World and making ADRs!
