Buses and Alternatives

My wife and I are arriving this weekend, and are staying onsite at Port Orleans Riverside.

We weren't planning to rent a car, but now I'm not sure. I would like to use the Saratoga Springs fitness center (there isn't one in POR). I spoke to them and they said it would take an hour to get there by bus but 5 minutes by car.

I also plan to go into Orlando to watch the Michigan football game with the local alumni club.

I wondered if it might make sense to get a rent a car (particularly if I can get one for about $30 or so a day) rather than spending an hour getting to and from a fitness center, or figuring out an alternative way to get to and from Orlando. Are there other alternatives I'm not thinking of?

We just had a Standard (tarus) from Enterprise on world drive for $17 a day weekend rates. They picked me up and dropped me off at POFQ with no problem at all.

Depending on what time you are looking to go to SSR the boat to MP from POR is about 30 min then a quick walk ober is just a few more.
