We have never been to Busch Gardens, just never got around to it but thought we probably would at some point. Now we leave at the end of April for 10 nights at Disney then we have 4 nights on the gulf coast at Treasure Island so should have time to fit it in then, but should we bother?

DD will have just turned 13 and is no longer interested in animals, but she hasn't yet graduated to the big roller coasters. She loves space mountain and the others mountains but the big inversion and loop types are a no no, she just won't go on. I tricked her onto DLP space mountain thinking once she gone upside down she would love it but no.

What else is there at Busch Gardens? If you don't do animals or roller coasters is it worth a look, it's a lot of money for one day, is there other things we will like?
Thanks, Joy.

If you don't like animals nor roller coasters I'd give Busch a miss IMO. Those really are the main attractions of going there :)

We love Busch, but we love coasters and animals. I would say leave it if you don't like either of those! It would kind of be like going to a water park when you don't like water!

My DD, is 10 not interested in animals, and is the same as your child, thunder mountain and expedition everest would be the only coaster she would go on.

However I visited busch gardens in oct, and she absolutley loved it, she took the brave jump and went on cheetah hunt, then we had to ride it again, again and again.

Enjoyed walking through looking at the animals as well.

She would love to go again :thumbsup2

My favourite park but read the website and see if there is anything for your family.

I think you should give it a go because you really are never going to really know unless you try it. So its a day out of your schedule but you all might really love it and find something that makes it really worth while. Yes it does have the BIG coaster but it does have other things as well. If you are in that area then go for it, you can always leave after a couple of hours if it turns into a negative for you. I enjoyed it, even if I was the chief bag holder, I still went on other things. We certainly don't do it every time we go but once in a while we do.

Thanks for all the advice, it looks like its probably not for us. I will not make plans for it and just see how the holiday goes, if we get a spare day and need something to do then maybe. On checking out the website it does seem to be very much animals or coasters. Just wish my DD would give them a go.
