Hello ALL!

We are heading to WDW in Sept but we are going to visit one day at BG.
I have already requested the 4 free tickets but there are 6 of us.
My youngest twins will need tickets.

I can't find anywhere that list or says if there is a discount on buying the tickets for military. Does anyone know?

I am also really consider the meal deal on all of us. I would have to buy 4 of us the meal deal seperate but considering the tickets are free I can't complain.

I did look at AAA prices too.

Has anyone been on base and seen what BG tickets cost and if they also sold the meal tickets too?

The only way to get the discounted Military tickets is to get them at your ITT/MWR on base. Besides the Here's to the Heroes tickets which can be picked up at the gate of Busch Gardens. I believe the ITT on our base sells the tickets at about 5$ off the adult ticket gate price, so about 60$. The meal deal is sold only at the gate unless it has changed within the past year.

I just got back from Busch Gardens VA with my son. he got the free ticket for himself and my grandson but I am not a dependant so I couldn't get a free one.(which was ok with me I am so glad the parks are giving to military)
We had to change his on line paper tickets at a special booth they have and I was able to buy a discounted ticket for myself at that booth. I save $20 on my ticket with the military discount. I had not planned on the discount so I had a coupon from Friendly's and they took and additional $10 off.
I didn't do the food coupons there since we had planned on only lunch at the park and went to a nice seafood restaraunt for dinner.
But if you have an extra day Sea World also gives the military free ticket. i am not sure if dependants get in free there becaue I didn't go with my son, only my grandson, so check that out.
We did get the food deal at Sea World which really was a great deal. We had all the drinks we wanted all day, including bottled water, and some really good meals. We also grabbed some fruit before we went into some of the shows which was also included in the meal deal. they have watermelon and strawberries that were really tasty.
I do know that the military discount is only available once a year so make sure that if you go to Busch Gardens you are also able to go to Sea World before you get to the gate. I would hate to see you turned away since both parks are owned by the same group.

It is one entree to any park per year. So you could not do Busch Gardens and Sea World. Dependents do get free entree in to Sea World with the "Here's to the Heros" program. We live in San Antonio and go almost every year.

We have used the free SeaWorld tickets at all 3 SeaWorld locations and at all 3 they gave us an extra free ticket for our third child. We now have annual passes at the San Antonio location, so we haven't used the Here's to Our Heroes tickets for about three years. I have no idea if they still give the free admission to additional children. It would be worth a call to find out!

Check the SeaWorld website if you end up needing to buy tickets. Sometimes they have special offers and coupons for one day tickets.
