Is Busch gardens interesting for an older (69) adult? My mom does not ride thrill rides but enjoys shows and theming like at Epcot.

I am looking for activities for a day in Tampa prior to a cruise. There will be the following ages: 69 , 44, 43, 9. Thanks for any ideas

Busch Gardens is a nice park, the shows are good. Some rival Disney some not so much. The animal exhibits are REALLY good. There are not many moving attractions for non-thrill seekers. I think if the rest of you like coasters, climbers, and shows you can fill a day. My mom isn't into rides but likes to go and watch the kids having a good time and hearing their descriptions.

Having gone to the park probably a few hundred times over the years I can say that many seniors are regulars to the park and most of them have annual passes.Seriously if you go on a weekday during winter and spring months its quite possible half the visitors are over 60.You have to realize the park is in the west coast of Florida which during these months is full of snowbirds from the northern states and the park knows this so they have events like the Real Music series which has music groups like Peter Noone and others that are popular with seniors as well as the new Food and Wine festival which also has concerts. The park also has several shows and several attractions like the train and skyride which seniors enjoy, and the park of course is also a zoo which is another draw for older adults. My point is that you can't just assume it's a coaster park,I've been on some days with the Real Music concerts happening where seniors where like 75% of the people in the park.
