Busch Gardens - Anyone done the tours?

Hi all,

We're thinking of doing the Animal Adventure Tour at Busch Gardens, and also the Thrill Tour - has anyone done either of these, and does anyone know why the thrill tour takes 5 hours? Surely with front-of-the-line access to the rides, it wouldn't take that long... i calculated it out to about 2 hours....?

We did the Serenghti safari tour in 2003 - on the back of a flatbed truck feeding giraffes it was fab. Bit pricey i remember (can't remember exactly how much) and we bought 3 photos that they took which also were quite a lot of money. but it was worth it - it was the end of august and it got really hot out there so make sure you take some water cos you have to leave your bags in locker.

We did the adventure thrills tour on boxing day and loved it. The tour actually took longer than 5 hours, we had our guide for 7 hours which was amazing. The reason it took so long was that we were taken to see one of the shows, had rests breaks from all the walking and rode the coasters multiple times. We were in a group of about 12 people and each time we arrived at a coaster we walked up the exit and then rode each ride twice, once front seat and then back seat (as you get a different ride experience.) Once we had ridden all the coasters we were asked if there were any we would like to go to again and we did that. The tour was very easy going, not at all rushed and the guide was very informaive. If you like coasters then I would definately take this tour. The day we went the ques were over 2 hours long, especially for the bigger coasters.
